Apollo solar thin film solar cell module conversion efficiency of 9.5%

Apollo Solar announced yesterday that Apollo Precision (HK) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the group, has received Intertek Testing Services NA Inc.

According to the UL 1703 flat panel solar module safety certification standard, the highest stable output power of thin-film solar modules manufactured using Group technology has reached 70 watts. On this basis, the highest attenuation effective area conversion efficiency of thin-film solar modules manufactured using related technologies has reached 9.5%.

Peng Libin, executive director of the group, said that as the conversion efficiency of thin-film solar modules rises, its cost will also decline. This will allow the Group to enjoy the advantages of more competitive production costs and continue to maintain its leading position in the solar film market.
