DOMINANT launches cost-effective high-light output white light DomiLED
April 12, 2023
DOMINANT has introduced a new high-intensity white Domino LED, DDW-KJG. This range also includes a product with a high color rendering index (CRI), the DDW-KJC. Since the operating current is only 20 mA, the luminous intensity of these LEDs is more prominent, that is, the luminous intensity of DDW-KJG is 2200mcd (average value), and the luminous intensity of DDW-KJC is 2000mcd (average value), and can satisfy the automotive industry. The strict requirements of LED products. LED products with a high color rendering index meet the US "Energy Star" standard. According to the observations, the minimum color rendering index required by DDW-KJC is 75, with an average of 80, indicating that it has the ability to be applied to all lighting applications.
Compared to DOMINANT's PLCC2 Domi LEDs (3.2 (long) x 2.8 (wide) x 18 (height) mm), this product has no design and no dimensional changes on the package. The product is designed with a low thermal resistance enclosure for optimum heat dissipation. These LEDs are packaged in a silicon package that allows for longer life.
Based on the new definition of LED color and luminous flux grading, these LEDs have more uniform illumination, especially for high-end lighting solutions such as automotive interior lighting, channel lighting, general lighting and display backlighting.
Engineering samples are now available and mass production began in July 2009.
