Japan Niujie Motor Exposure LED Light Source

June 24, 2023
Exposure LED light sources under development by Tauro Motor are referenced and exhibited at the "Semicon Japan 2011" (December 7-9, 2011, Makuhari Messe Exhibition Center). It is expected to replace the previously used mercury (Hg) lamp. The company stated that it is ready to develop applications that can exploit the characteristics of LED light sources.

According to the description of the oxtail motor, the exposure of the LED light source has been used, and its own development has been completed, and users are currently exploring ways to use it. The LED light source can output light having a wavelength corresponding to the mercury lamp g-line (wavelength 436 mm), h-line (wavelength 405 mm), and i-line (wavelength 365 mm). The current light intensity is equivalent to a mercury lamp with an output power of 750W. The characteristic of the LED light source is that the ratio of the light intensity of the fixed g-line, h-line and i-line in the mercury lamp can be changed. In addition, although the initial cost is higher than that of the previously used mercury lamp, the running cost can be reduced because of the long service life. In addition, its low heat, can achieve energy-saving and space-saving. Oxtail Motor said it will open up applications that can take advantage of these characteristics.
