LED light source is expected to drop to 100 yuan to enter ordinary people's home is not a luxury

From 1000 yuan in 2008 to 400 yuan in 2009, in the past year, the technological breakthrough of LED lighting equipment has enabled this energy-saving and environmentally-friendly fourth-generation light source to achieve large-scale, low-cost mass production. Lighting tools with better brightness and longer life are expected to fly into the homes of ordinary people. The reporter learned from Dalian Luming yesterday that this year's ordinary civilian LED indoor light source lamp is expected to drop to less than one hundred yuan. Coupled with the state's policy subsidies to guide, home LED lights are not a luxury.
Dalian Luming is currently the second largest semiconductor lighting epitaxial wafer manufacturer in China and an LED lighting equipment manufacturer with core patent technology. Liang Xudong, CEO of the company, said in an interview that 2009 was a year of high-speed growth of Luming LED lighting equipment. A large number of products were mainly used in street lighting, tunnel lights, landscape lighting and other fields. "The most outstanding advantage of LED lights is energy saving and environmental protection." Liang Xudong said that LED street lights save 50% of electricity compared with ordinary street lights. If one third of the country's street lights are replaced with LED lights, the annual savings will be equivalent to building a Three Gorges. Power station.
Compared with the traditional light source, the LED light source is stable, the light chromatogram is pure, and contains less mercury and ultraviolet light source, which can effectively improve the brightness, avoid the damage of the light source to the human body and environmental pollution, and have a longer service life. But the key issue that has long hindered the promotion of civilian LED lights is price. In 2009, breakthroughs were made in key technologies for global LED lighting, resulting in a significant drop in production costs. According to Liang Xudong, the price of LED lights on the market is decreasing at a rate of more than 50% per year. On the other hand, China has also begun piloting some provinces to subsidize the promotion of LED lighting equipment. This year, the three provinces took the lead in piloting and it is expected to be fully promoted next year.
