More than 11 LED companies are stationed in Nanhai Electric Light Source Industry Base

The core park of Guangdong New Light Source Industry Base is expected to be completed before the Spring Festival next year. At the annual meeting of the Nanhai Electric Light Source Lighting Industry Association yesterday, the relevant person in charge revealed that more than 11 LED related companies have decided to enter the core area.

According to reports, the new light source industry in Nanhai is mainly concentrated in Luocun Street. The core park of Guangdong New Light Source Industry Base and South China (International) Electric Light Source Lighting City are the two main carriers of the industry. Among them, the core park of Guangdong New Light Source Industry Base, which was laid at the end of March this year, is a provincial key construction project.

The data shows that the first phase of the core park of Guangdong New Light Source Industry Base is progressing smoothly. According to the progress, before the Spring Festival next year, the core park of the entire industrial base will be built into nearly 300,000 square meters of R&D, testing and production. At present, more than 11 LED-related enterprises and testing organizations from Guangzhou and Hong Kong have decided to enter the core area. In addition, Nanhai South China (International) Electric Light Source Lighting City was put into use at the end of May this year, and it is expected that the first phase will be officially opened in September.

In this regard, Liu Zongyang, deputy director of Luocun Sub-district Office, said that the local government will pick up the core parks of the new light source industry in the provinces and cities, especially in June this year after the National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance sub-center settled in the South China Sea, it will be given to the South China Sea. And Luocun provide more resources and platforms for the development of the new light source industry.

He said that at present Luo Village is actively striving to host the national lighting and lighting design competition, and the project has entered the preparatory stage. In this way, Luo Village will further expand the influence of the “Luo Cun Optoelectronics” brand and refresh the regional brand for the production, packaging and R&D base of the new light source industry in South China.

The relevant person in charge of the Nanhai Electric Light Source Lighting Industry Association said that in response to the development of the new light source industry in Nanhai, the association will reach cooperation intentions with relevant scientific research institutions, universities and testing institutions, and plans to form an association of experts. At the same time, more visits to corporate research and organization meetings and business visits.
