With the emerging market economy of LED taking off, Taiwan LED factories have rushed to attack. Among them, the chip factory has entered the supply chain of Russia's largest packaging factory in the new century. It also plans to integrate the packaging factory to set up a factory in Brazil. The new century said that Russian customers in the country's industry, from packaging to downstream lighting products, but the lack of upstream LED chips, and the company just provides the different power LED chips they need. Russia is located in the cold zone, there is no LED heat problem, the legal person estimates that the number of shipments to Russia in the new century is about 1 million.
The new century is also optimistic about Brazilian business opportunities, but considering the Brazilian tariff issue, it plans to integrate the packaging plant, set up a joint venture plant in Brazil, and will produce LED lighting products in the future.
Yiguang spokesperson Liu Bangyan said that the Indian branch was established last year, mainly selling infrared and LED lighting products; however, in terms of revenue scale, the proportion of emerging markets is still in single digits. Liu Bangyan pointed out that because India's general household income is not high, the market is still dominated by price. The products needed in the Indian market are still shipped from Taiwan. The strategy of Yiguang is to reduce costs by expanding the scale of the economy.
Edison, a spokesperson for Edison, said that India, Turkey and Russia are currently among the top three countries in emerging markets, with a total revenue of about 10-15% in emerging markets. However, for emerging markets, Edison believes that although there are great growth potentials, there are many factors to consider when investing in these countries, so it is still based on the agent sales model.
